Time to Let Go
Stiffness isn’t just in your body. It’s in your habits, your schedule, and your beliefs.
Warm greetings,
New month, new rhythm. Hello August. Let’s walk gently into this season.
In our last edition of The Pulse, we honored the power of the pause: the sacred stillness that opens the door to realignment.
Many of you reached out to say how much that message resonated. Some of you admitted you were scared to slow down. Others said it permitted you to breathe again.
So let’s take the next step together.
Because after the pause comes a decision:
Will you return to the same old rhythm, or will you allow yourself to move differently?
This brings us to a truth I’ve been sitting with lately:
The body’s natural state is fluidity; stiffness is a sign that something is asking to be set free.
And that goes far beyond muscles and joints.

Because when the roles fade and the noise quiets, what remains is you.
💌 A Soulful Birthday Celebration: Letters to My Sisters
It’s my birthday month!
The celebration looks a little different.
No cake or candles, though those are always welcome.
This time, it’s about meaningful connection, deep reflection, and aligning with what truly matters.
This August, I’m hosting something special here on Substack:
Letters to My Sisters: A Soulful Celebration of Becoming
A month-long gathering of pause, joy, and truth-telling.
Each week, I’ll be sharing:
Soulful letters and notes from the journey
Gentle reflection prompts
A few surprise gifts
And an invitation to a September workshop on living beyond titles, timelines, and expectations
If you’ve been craving something slower, deeper, more aligned with the woman you’re becoming, this is for you.
Come join the circle. We begin with a pause.
🤞What Is Your Stiffness Hiding?
Stiffness doesn’t always show up in your shoulders.
Sometimes, it’s in your routines.
The packed calendar doesn’t leave room for joy.
The “shoulds” you inherited but never questioned.
The dreams that quietly shrunk to fit a role you’ve outgrown.
If the pause invited you to feel again, this moment is inviting you to move again, but not with the same patterns.
Not with force.
Not on autopilot.
But with freedom.
Fluidity is your body’s natural rhythm.
And if things feel tight or stuck - emotionally, physically, spiritually - it might be time to release something that no longer serves you.
So ask yourself:
What am I holding onto out of habit instead of alignment?
🏕️Retirement Is Not a Full Stop. It’s a Transition.
We’ve been sold a vision of retirement as a finish line.
But for so many of us, especially women, this next season isn’t about ending.
It’s about becoming.
Becoming someone who rests without guilt.
Who creates without comparison.
Who moves through life at her own chosen pace.
Retirement isn’t about retreating.
It’s about releasing the identities that were never fully ours, and reclaiming the ones that always were.
Just like the body isn’t meant to stay stiff, your spirit isn’t meant to stay small.
You are allowed to change your mind.
To try something new.
To let go of what doesn’t feel like yours anymore.
💧Fluidity Over Force
If you’ve been feeling stuck lately: creatively, emotionally, physically, consider this:
What if the answer isn’t to push harder?
What if the invitation is to soften?
At RESTORE, we often guide women through this idea:
That the body and life itself want to flow.
And when we meet resistance, it’s often a sign that something needs to shift, not be conquered.
You don’t need to bulldoze your way into the next chapter.
You can flow into it.
You can feel your way forward.
You can release the stiffness, not just in your body, but in your beliefs.
🪞Reflect With Me
Take a quiet moment this week and ask yourself:
Where do I feel the most stiffness in my life right now?
What might that stiffness be protecting or preventing?
What would it feel like to choose fluidity instead of force?
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Hit reply or share in the comments here on Substack. Your reflection could be just what someone else needs to read.
