There’s a moment between chapters—a pause—where the story isn’t over, but it hasn’t quite begun again.
It’s the space after you’ve handed in your resignation, but before you know what’s next. After the caregiving ends, but before your own healing has begun. After you’ve decided something needs to change… but before clarity finds its shape.
These “in-between” moments can feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable. We’re taught to push forward, to plan and produce, to always be becoming. But what if this space is actually sacred? What if it’s not a void, but a womb—holding us until we’re ready to rise differently?
Over the years, I’ve learned that the pause is not a detour. It’s an invitation. A gentle call to stop striving and start listening. To rest, not just our bodies, but our identities. To let something fall away so something truer can take root.
So if you’re in a moment of not-quite-there, I want you to know this:
You are not behind.
You are not invisible.
You are becoming.
This is a place for those moments. A space to reflect, realign, and eventually rise.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing letters, podcast conversations, and stories from women who have navigated these tender transitions—women who have dared to pause and come back home to themselves.
But for now, I invite you to simply breathe. To feel whatever is surfacing. And if you feel led, I’d love to hear from you:
What’s one thing you’re currently releasing—or learning to rest in?
Let’s honor the wisdom of this in-between, together.
With grace,
Pam
