Dear Sister,
There is a knowing within you that has not gone quiet—it’s only been covered by the noise.
In times of transition, we often doubt our inner compass. The world is loud. The pressure to make decisions, to be certain, to act fast… it can drown out our own voice.
But the signal is still there. It may be subtle now—a whisper, a sensation, a memory that won’t let go. You don’t need to figure it all out this week. Just come home to the part of you that already knows.
What would shift if you trusted the signal again?
With love,
Pam
Letters to My Sisters has always been about reflection and restoration. But I also believe in returning to the table together — to unpack, to integrate, to grow.
Starting in November, paid subscribers will receive an exclusive “After the Letter” reflection — a companion piece offering deeper commentary, prompts, and practices to ground what we’re exploring each week.
It’s not just extra — it’s an invitation to go deeper into the work of becoming.
After the Letter
If you’re reading this, you already know what it feels like when the signal fades.
When life gets loud. When grief, responsibility, or even success start to crowd the quiet knowing inside you.
This week’s letter spoke to the truth that the signal — that deep inner guidance — never disappears. It just gets buried under the noise.
Here, I want to go deeper into how we find our way back to it.
1. The Pause Before the Reconnect
We often think clarity comes from doing — more journaling, more praying, more figuring out.
But the signal grows strongest when we stop straining to hear it.
The pause is the reconnection.
When you stop forcing direction, you make room for discernment.
Take a slow breath right now.
Feel your heartbeat.
That rhythm? That’s the language of your signal.
2. Trust the Interference
Not every disruption is a distraction.
Sometimes what feels like interference is actually invitation.
Life will scramble the transmission just long enough for you to stop relying on the old frequency — the one built on obligation, fear, or other people’s expectations.
The static is the universe saying: Tune higher.
Ask yourself: What frequency am I being asked to leave behind?
3. Remember: The Signal is You
The signal isn’t something out there to find — it’s something in here to remember.
It hums beneath every role, every reinvention, every recalibration.
Even when you can’t name the next step, the signal reminds you:
You are still guided. You are still aligned. You are still whole.
Reflection Prompt:
What practices help you clear the static and hear yourself again?
Is it movement, prayer, stillness, music, solitude, or conversation?
Share your practice in the comments — it might be the reminder another sister needs.
Affirmation for the Week:
“Even in the noise, I can hear me.”
With love and deep listening,
Pam
